This cozy place on the internet is a sanctuary for those of us on a healing path, and are ready to honor our unique needs in a way that is mindful, intuitive, natural and wholistic.

We’re a community of people seeking connection, healing, advice that’s outside the box…and ready to embrace our true Selves to do it!

If you’ve been traveling the healing path for any considerable amount of time, you’ve probably spent an enormous amount of time and money “trying to get back to who you were before”.

Struggling to find answers, solutions and cures.

But there comes a point when we begin to realize that our health, our happiness and our lives are in our own hands.

What we think, say and do matters. And if we truly want to heal, we need to know what HEALING actually means for us personally… what it looks like to us and how we feel about moving forwards on our life’s path, while living with a chronic condition, or a disability of some sort.

Because we now live with a different ability. One that the world has not made accommodations for, and tends to assume that everyone is the same. But we are diverse, multidimensional beings with varying abilities and talents, and we deserve a higher quality of life. A life that fits our unique needs, our unique talents and our unique abilities.

That begins with cultivating a relationship with the one person who is with you your entire life… your Self. That part of you that is infinite, connected to the highest vibrations of unconditional love and truly wants the best for you always.

Because after a life-changing diagnosis, no matter what it is, the way you live your life is never quite the same. And few people, unless you live it too, truly understand that.

Here I offer you a safe space to be vulnerable. A safe space to connect, get inspired by people who live with a chronic condition or disability and have learned how to trust the guidance from their own inner wisdom, so they can thrive in their own unique way.

As we travel this healing journey, we need a sanctuary where we can set our masks aside, be genuine, and begin to live in the way that aligns with our unique needs and values. Instead of in a way that we’re told we should, from people who don’t really know us as an individual.

Why I Created Mindful & Intuitive Healing

Mindful & Intuitive Healing Community was created because I found it really difficult to find affordable, nature-centered, wholistically-minded support after my own traumatic brain injury & PTSD diagnosis. As a doctor of natural health, a certified mindfulness teacher, yoga practitioner and nature therapy guide, I wanted more than just to be given a few pharmaceuticals and to be sent on my way.

I wanted a community where I could focus on mindfully & intuitively creating balance and healing within. Where I could learn to align with more feminine healing, the power of Mother Earth and where everyone was wholistically minded.

A space where I could connect with other natural health professionals who understood the long term effects a brain injury and PTSD could have on a person’s life, and where I could make new friends.

New friends that were navigating similar every day struggles, and understood what it was like to live with a chronic condition, and an invisible disability, but didn’t want to hide away. People who wanted to live, play and have fun in a way that honored their unique needs, without feeling guilty about it- even if it was virtually.

Where I could learn how to embrace this version of myself without being told that I needed to be warrior! Where I could learn how to nurture, nourish and empower myself in a way that felt true and right to me.

So after 5 years on my own healing journey, and still not finding it, I created it.

Who Is Mindful Dina Joy?

I’m a highly sensitive, introverted, neurodivergent woman (wife & mother), living with the effects of PTSD, double-digit concussions (traumatic brain injuries), and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures.

I also happen to have a doctorate in natural health, certified as a mindfulness & meditation teacher, a certified as a mindful eco-therapy guide and I’m a certified yoga teacher.
